FAQ/Checklist:

Makers mark- will I know its my work when it comes out?

 

Bisque:

​

is my work dry

does my Clay fire at that temperature cone 06 (imagine the 0 is a minus sign)

are my walls thicker than 2cm​

​

are my works unglazed- although once firing is possible we don't do once firing in our kilns due to the increased risk of damage.

​

Glaze:

​

Can my clay fire to cone 6?

Is my glaze a cone 6 glaze?

​

Have I cleaned the glaze off the bottom of the pot and left 1/2 cm clearance from the bottom

​

Is my glaze going to run?

If you are unsure, you should make a sacrificial clay pad both for the health of your pot and our shelves.
